Ready, Set, Hunt!

GameHunters.com is a new games blog from USA Today. Why does this matter? Because good games blogs are a great find and this one has serious potential. And we care because they’re featuring a section entitled “Casual Encounters” about the casual gaming sector. They will regularly feature a new casual game, review it, and ask for user feedback. Additionally, they will ask readers what games they’d like to see highlighted, which adds a fun spin on the site.

While this isn’t horribly different than many other casual gaming blogs,  USA Today may help to bring a new audience to the casual sector, and we always welcome new faces. Not only will they cover games that they like but they are committed to covering the “best and worst” of the game industry, so you will get tips on what not to try. And, if someone can save me a buck on not buying a crappy iPhone game, I’m all for it!
