Racing the Music

This Sunday in Seattle is the Jingle Bell Run. It’s supposed to be around 20 degrees and snowing. Sounds like the perfect day for a little 5k, don’t you think? We agree, that’s why several of us crazy kids have decided to partake in the event, regardless of how many times we slip and fall on the ice.

In order to make the run a little more interesting we came up with a challenge. Each of us would create a playlist. The playlist would be the same amount of time that we’re hoping to finish the race in. If we beat the music, we win. If the music beats us, well, we lose. So, we’re considering a bit of extra motivation. And plus, the faster you run, the warmer you get, right?

The playlists are pretty varied. We’ve got the pop extraordinaire, the frat boy mix, the completely random poppy/dance mix and the odd mix of electronica and hip-hop. Which would work the best for you? What would your playlist be?

Ladies and gentlemen! The frat boy mix!

The Super Pop Mix:

The Spinning Mix:

And finally my total random mostly electronic mix:

Which one would get you moving on a super cold day?
