RealPlayer & GameHouse at Mashable!

Thursday evening was the Mashable holiday party. About 150 people packed the beautiful penthouse suite of the Roger Smith Hotel. Both GameHouse and RealPlayer SP were sponsors of the event. For those who don’t know, Mashable is the place for all things social media on the web. It’s a great place to find out what “the Twitter” is up to, etc. We’ve been wanting to work with Mashable for a long time and were thrilled to be a part of their event. Proceeds from ticket sales to the event went to the Association to Benefit Children (ABC).

Guests mingled throughout the penthouse spaces, ate delicious food and drank wine from our friends at Wine 2.0. It was great for us to get to mingle with some of Mashable’s finest as well as lot of familiar faces from the New York area. We showed off how cool RealPlayer SP is and explained how great it is for holiday home video footage.  GameHouse gave away “Bombhead” characters to all who wanted one as well as demo’d COLLAPSE! on Facebook. We also stashed ransom envelops all around the room, some with prizes like iPod Touches or coupons for awesome free games from Gamehouse. At the end of the evening we raffled off a Wii to a very lucky winner! All in all it was a great event. Thanks to Mashable for having us and to Derek and Keri Wilmot for getting us involved in the event. Mashable Wrapup MediaPost Wrapup ToyQueen Wrapup
